Reza Khanzadeh joined NIAC Action in September 2015 as the Office & Events Administrator. Prior to joining NIAC Action, Reza worked for four years as an administrative assistant at several nonprofit and for profit organizations. In addition, Reza also previously worked with the U.S.-Iran Chamber of Commerce, where he was Director of Membership Services.
From 2012 to 2013, Reza was a research assistant at the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran (ICHRI) and the Human Rights in Iran Unit (HRIU) under the United Nations Special Rapporteur for Human Rights in Iran. During his tenure, Reza contributed to two reports: The Cost of Faith in January 2013 with ICHRI, and The Situation of Human Rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran in October 2013 with HRIU.
Reza holds a Master of International Relations from New York University and a Master of Islamic Studies from the University of Virginia. Between 2001 and 2011, Reza alternated between living in the United States and Iran, affording him a nuanced perspective on U.S.-Iranian relations and inspiring his commitment to advancing a peaceful future between the U.S. and Iran.
